Exhibition at Morley Gallery

I'm participating in a group exhibition at the Morley Gallery in London with 16 of my fellow printmakers. We had a private view on Thursday evening which was well attended.
No red dots for me yet though!
Here's a photo of me and my wall.

There will be another private view/party on Tuesday 11th December. Everybody welcome.
Here is the invite with information and a map.

Exhibition at Morley

I am in the throes of preparing for a group exhibition at the Morley College Gallery.

It is called 'Sixteen @ Morley' as it is sixteen of us from Frank Connely's class who have clubbed together to rent the gallery for two weeks.

This is the second year we do it. Last year it was in Spring and was quite successful. This year it is 3-14 November so we are hoping that people will be buying their Christmas presents!

Will the 'credit crunch' affect us? We'll soon see.

My theme will be classical composers again. Last year I had 16 portraits done. This year I have over 50 so I need to select and make best use of the available space.

This photo is of my display at last year's show.

Sixteen@MorleyGallery
16 of us from the Thursday printmaking sessions at Morley College have hired The Morley Gallery for a week to exhibit our work. We had a meeting in the gallery today to sort out the finances, publicity and timetable. Spreading the cost between 16 of us means a total cost each of under £100 including printing, drinks at the opening and importantly staffing the gallery. Excellent value.
As we are hiring the gallery the gallery is not taking any commission on sales.
So now down to work - a lot to prepare for the opening on March 5th . I think I will exhibit 16 composers
Above is the invitation.
